Who is it for?
- Forwarder (sender for B/L instruction)
- Shipper or ship's agent (recipient of B/L instruction)
- Shipper, forwarder, ship's agent or shipping company (sender of the transport instruction)
- Inland carrier (recipient of the transport instruction)
Content of the message
The message is suitable both for containerised goods and for other goods.
In the case of a transport instruction being sent to an inland carrier by the shipper, forwarder or shipping company, the inland carrier can use this information for drawing up the CMR, for drawing up the transport schedule and sending as pre-notification to the terminal (e.g. using the COPINO message).
