Content of the message

The CUSREP message contains all the general information about the seagoing ship that is due to arrive in the port, irrespective of whether or not goods have to be unloaded. The first time the CUSREP message is sent includes:

UNLOCODE of the original port of lading/departure
Route
Code of the first place of arrival in the port
IMO number of the ship
Port stay number issued by the port authority for the stay in the seaport concerned
Name of the ship
Nationality of the ship

Services

ISPS declaration

Used to send an ISPS Declaration electronically to the authorities concerned when sending ships to an EU port.

Notification of arrival (seagoing ship)

Used by the Port Authority to notify the Customs authorities, via APICS, when a seagoing ship bound for Antwerp actually moors at the berth.

Notification of exit (seagoing ship)

Used by the Port Authority to inform the Customs authorities, via APICS, when a seagoing ship unmoors from its berth and leaves the port via the lock.
